General

  • What’s the difference between modules, master classes, and networking/mentoring opportunities?
Modules are coaching-based, enabling you to work one-on-one with a coach to develop or hone a specific career-building skill over a period of time.
Master classes are events led by experts in particular disciplines in a small group setting.
Networking events are an opportunity to engage with industry leaders and like-minded peers. Mentorships may be facilitated through such events or through the ELX website.

Modules

  • Who can register for these modules?
Registration for the ELX modules is open to the public to help individuals enhance their personal and professional skills through competency-based learning experiences.

Because our competency-based learning is tailored to each participant, there are no academic prerequisites.

You can complete each module at your own pace. Milestone dates are established between the coach and the participant.

Your coach is someone who has the technical and hands-on experience to support you in achieving specific tasks. Your coach will guide your work to meet the competency objectives of your module.
  • What is included in the hours of coaching I get?
Your experience and learning style will influence the structure, but generally you can expect your coaching hours to include an introduction and setting personal objectives, review of your work, feedback, and more.

Yes. You have the flexibility to choose the learning modules that fit your learning needs.
